Pumpkins have been the focus of lots of play this week. We have painted them, scooped them out, made pumpkin soup and used real tools to hammer nails into them. Lots of children are enjoying the sensory experience of painting with their hands. They have been dipping their hands in paint, using paintbrushes to paint their hands, using their hands to spread it and their fingers to make marks in it and just look at the joy on one little boy’s face when he squeezes his paint covered hands hands together with his friend - simply wonderful to see! The children have been transporting large sticks around the garden, trying to knock the berries out of the tree and practising their knot tying skills alongside spending time with Poppy the guinea pig. Please feel free to leave a comment, we always appreciate hearing your thoughts.

It's so lovely to hear and see what the children get up to.
