We have dealt with all types of weather this week and it was lovely to end the week with some sunshine. There has been lots going on outside with children creating castles out of blocks and using them to balance on and jump from. We have been washing clothes and hanging them out to dry, problem solving as we worked out how to stop the washing line from falling over. We have started planting this week, all sorts of vegetables from peas to pumpkins. The children have been looking closely at the differences between the seeds as they planted their pots. We are looking forward to seeing if our plants grow - watch this space!
We have also been getting very messy indoors, mixing and exploring the texture of powder paint. The children have wrapped boxes, continued with their shop role play, made gingerbread men and one little boy has even written his own song. We hope you enjoy the sunshine and have a wonderful bank holiday weekend.
